Friesian / Thoroughbred Cross

- Aleta -  SOLD - Thank you Mary Goodall, Belgrade, MN.   I'm sure you will have alot of fun with Aleta.

Aleta is a Friesian/Thoroughbred  black filly out of a daughter of an ex-race mare.   At 1 YO, she is 15H.   Aleta is sired by Alex ut de Finnen, Reserve Champion of his class at the Friesian Grand National Horse Show, Lexington, VA, October, 2005,and at the July, 2004 USDF Black Hills Dressage Show,  Alex received the top scores in his classes.  She is a granddaughter of ANTON 343 who was RESERVE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD in his class of 2003.
Aleta definitely has the look of the Friesian with the strong neck,  & strong bones She has the personality characteristics of a Friesian and many of her dam's winning qualities.  This is a very kind, loving filly who wants to be your companion where ever you are, intelligent, and spirited.  When leading  she is so attentive as to what is expected of her.  She moves very smoothly but with Friesian action.  She trailer loads, ties, is up to date on shots, and on worming schedule.  Aleta has the ability to do well in any field of training you may favor.  She just has that presence about her.  If you're looking for an eye catching filly to train for the show ring, take a good look at her!   This filly is very well bred and will be an asset to your herd as a broodmare in the future.    Priced at $2500.0

Mary writes "She is doing so well.  I am totally in love with her.  She has such a fun and intricate personality.  She makes me laugh all the time.  So far, considering the weather and everything, we haven't done too much.  I've worked with her feet quite a bit, and she's perfect with them.  We've worked on simple ground stuff, leading, stopping, backing, turning, not bolting when things are unpleasant.  I am amazed at how intelligent she is.  Once you teach her something she really doesn't regress too much.  I have also had winter blanket on her, a saddle pad, and a saddle (not very tight).  She's taken everything in stride.  I am really looking forward to spring so we can do more”

Anyway, she is great.  I am so happy with her."
