Star
is an “eye catching” black 3 YO Friesian/TB cross filly who stands 16H. She has a petite head with a
beautiful diamond-shaped star which is the first thing you notice about her,
hence – her name. Also has small band of white above coronet band L. hind.
She is sired by Alex ut de Finnen, Reserve Champion of his class at the Friesian Grand National Horse Show, Lexington, VA, October, 2005,and at the July, 2004 USDF Black Hills Dressage Show, Alex received the top scores in his classes. She is a granddaughter of ANTON 343 who was RESERVE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD in his class of 2003. Her dam is an ex-race-stakes winning mare sired by Band Practice.
Star
is very quick to learn and accept. She
never missed a step when we walked into the trailer the first time and continues
to load in this manner. She trims
easily, ties, up to date on inoculations and worming.
If you ever thought about eventing or gaming with a Friesian cross -
here she is!! This
filly has what I call “a lot of scat”.
She has the personality and intelligence of both sire and dam,
athleticism of both breeds and the definite Friesian personality.
Star has a lot of potential and is exceptionally nice.
She is registered with the FSHR.
